Pair with your favorite method and dial in your ideal grind for a cup that tastes exactly how you like it.

• More control: set grind size for drip, pour‑over, or espresso
• More freshness: stays vibrant longer when stored sealed & cool

whole-bean coffee FAQs

what makes happi whole-bean coffee fresher than grocery beans?

We roast to order and ship within 1–3 business days. Grocery beans are often roasted weeks (or months) earlier. Fresher whole bean coffee = bigger aroma and cleaner flavor.

do i need a fancy grinder?

No. A reliable burr grinder beats a blade grinder, but you don’t need anything wild. Start with a basic burr grinder and adjust until the cup tastes balanced.

how should i store the beans once they arrive?

Keep them in the original zip bag or an airtight canister, away from light, heat, and moisture. Skip the fridge. For best flavor, enjoy within 4–6 weeks of roast.

how long after roasting should i grind and brew?

Whole beans are ready to brew on arrival. Many people love days 3–14 post‑roast; flavor stays great for weeks when stored well.

what grind size works best for my brewer?

Drip: medium. Pour‑over: medium‑fine (adjust for flow). French press: coarse. Espresso: fine. Find your sweet spot with our grind guide and brew tips.
