Hi, I’m Randy—founder of Happi.
A few years ago, I visited a coffee farm in Guatemala—and it completely changed the way I saw coffee. I saw the care, effort, and risk farmers pour into every step of the process. These are people who work incredibly hard to get everything right—yet the system rarely works in their favor.
That experience stuck with me.
I came home with a deeper appreciation not just for what goes into a truly great cup of coffee, but for the people and regions that make it possible. The more I learned, the more I saw how disconnected most of us are from the story behind our coffee—and how much better coffee can be when it’s sourced responsibly and roasted fresh.
I didn’t want to build something fancy. I wanted something better. More honest. More human.
That’s what led me to start Happi.
